They are finally here! The long awaited Kittens have arrived, and they are sooooo cute! Tippper gave birth to two beautiful cute kittens on August 18th. Everyone is doing well and eating great. I have to say I am sooo in love with them (esp one) It's amazing how fast they grow each day seems like they are way bigger then the day before it's crazy!

Slippin'
Seems like yesterday that I remember taking that long run towards the long yellow SLIP & SLIDE. Man those were the days...to run and let your body fall then get the wind knocked out of you from falling too hard..lol. I found one in the store a week or so ago and decided to purchase it for the kiddies ~ and sure enough it was a hit..well for Mack & Kaye at least. Marshall is just starting to enjoy it. I snapped some pic's ...maybe i will gain the courage to take another "run" at the yellow runway....in time I say...in time.

The BIG 3
Our " little man " turned the BIG 3 on Sunday! Along with turning the BIG 3 he has also turned Cheeky and Mr. Talkback ...and let's see how far I can push this issue!?!?! BUT that's beside the point right! We love him and he's pretty darn cute, anyways back to the turning 3.
Still blows my mind to think that he is already 3 - seems like yesterday that he entered out lives.
Marshall started his Birthday afternoon with a lovely nap ( with Truck in hand ) of course, followed by a special dinner & a Dump truck/ construction cake & gifts to boot!
He was pretty impressed with his new Mack truck ( as he is obsessed with CARS.) And he also really loves the BIG Tractor that Melanie & Kevin got for him- thanx guys!

This is out latest addition ~ Baby Miley...I know I know another CAT!!! Yes...Makayla fell inlove with her at Mike's work and well she just happened to sneak her way into our van.
Only took
Mike a day and a half to figure out that he was hearing a " new " meow in the house...lol then he finally asked what that " noise " was. Needless to say i catch him cuddling / petting her A LOT..so I dont think it is all that bad!!
Kennedy is in love with her as well ...as you can tell by the pic.

Our Trip to Storeybook Gardens 2008
As the kids get older they seem to get more & more nervy - from climbing higher & swinging farther and to travel further ahead as we walk through the park. But at least they all had a ton of fun!

From good to bad, it all works out in the long run...right? Our share of trying times, patience of a god, enough holes in our tongues from biting them to not say " those words ". This is how it is.
For a long while now we have had some issues to deal with, and well we thought that we had finally got to the bottom of it all...when HELL reappeared AGAIN! Why us?!?! Poor little Kennedy has been going through so much dealing with tantrums beyond belief, acting out on us with violence, hurtful to say non the less ~ but yet none of us are sure whether she i=understands knows what she is actually doing, and frankly I really don't think that her specialist does either. Sorry enough rambling from me.
We had finally got a diagnoses bout Kennedy if you can recall a long time ago we had received an answer to our issues that we were dealing with here at home ...and that was Temper mentally difficult child syndrome...LMAO Ya Right.
Mike & I had left our situation long enough after that answer and there was absolutely no improvement, more less just our whole family in disbelief really. So off to our family doctor....again about this issue ~ i guess the saying is true if you persist long enough you will eventually get an answer you like. Finally after and hour discussion about what is STILL occurring at home he sent a referral up to a child behaviourist. Honestly all I felt was complete relief..Oh good I'm going to get some help. After waiting for a couple months, ( which felt like yrs ) our appointment finally was here. So we packed up Kaye and off we went to see him...I think I felt like I wasn't going to be heard again so I could feel my body going into recluse mode...INSTANT FRUSTRATION..and well it must have showed on my face cause that's exactly what the doctor said to me: " Why such the frustrated look"? HHHMMMM I wonder why guy??
The "interview" felt like it went on for hrs when actually it didn't just anticipation of getting another answer i guess..So after question upon question and answer upon answer, the doctor finally came to a " first & temporary conclusion": He diagnosed Kaye with having; OCD ( Obsessive compulsive disorder), Anxiety Disorder & the start of depression. At first I thought WHAT THE HELL! But then relaxed and dealt with that answer. But somewhere deep down inside I almost felt like it was a "mask" to cover up what is actually really wrong.
To say non the less meds were prescribed ~ mainly to help deal with the OCD issue right now and to see if they were going to help with any of the problems. But the trouble with these meds is that they take 4-6 weeks to kick in and actually see effects take place. After a couple of appointments to see how the meds were working the 4 week mark arose, along with red spots on Kaye. Yes, little hives just on the creases of her knees and arms..and a few on her face. Actually nothing that I was too worried about, until the next morning. And OMG it was totally unbelievable, the little red hives had turned into HUGE red patches that had become raised and EXTREMELY ITCHY for her.
Right there and then I went into panic mode.
PART 2 TO FOLLOW ( after this storm passes and I can turn he puter back on ) sorry :(

Trying to beat the heat is what we were all trying to do. So the kids convinced their Daddy to get the pool out and fill er' up. But....I'm not too sure that Mike was prepared for the "length " of time that it was taking ti fill up the pool.lol. From jumping through it and bending the sides down & allowing the water to escape..to picking up the hose and spraying anyone nearby or in sight. So after all that he decided to leave the little water that was captured by the bent/runover sides of the poor pool..and well the kids didn't seem to mind at all. They still had tons of fun. i took some pic's please excuse the mis matched swimsuit of Mack's.
After the kids went to bed tonight I went out and filled up the pool so tomorrow will be filled with joyous fun for them..I hope :o
I'll drink to that! :)

To say none the less..it's been a stressful week for me. Just seems to be a lot going on for one brain to comprehend..that's all. So after yesterday's feascle I decided to go out and have a little " retail therapy " good way to put it huh! As I was leaving Makayla decided that she wanted to go with me, which is fine as I do think she needs one on one time with me too ~ they all do really.
We went to a few stores and Makayla blew her Birthday money like there was no tomorrow..it was cute to watch though. Our final stop was at ....ta dumm: Mc Donalds ~ as we were getting out of the van, the car beside us had 2 ladies in the front and a boy about 7 or 8 in the back seat, and as we were shutting out door all we heard was this foreign language but also a VERY DISTINCT word that was English..aahheem ~ started with an F..anyways the lady had used this word in a manner that she was telling the little boy off. Which was totally inappropriate and un called for in my eyes..but that's me. I think my jaw had hit the parking lot pavement and I'm not sure how long I was staring..but I was. Eventually we made our way into Mc Donalds and sat down to eat our meal..during our meal Makayla and iI were making conversation...then she says to me.." Mom, remember when we were getting out of the van and we heard that lady say that bad word to that little boy in the car. YOu know ..uumm was it A . S . S. oorrr I can't remember mom what was it? " So I said to her no it was a bad word Makayla it was the F word and we don't ever say that, Ok. She then replies with: " Oh the F word...Fart right Mom? I can't believe she said Fart off to him...how rude huh Mom."
Well it took all I had no to burst into hysterical laughter in McDonalds, let me tell you. But it was one of those moments that I will always remember & cherish.

Sweet Seven
Makayla Blowing out the candles
Once again we sit back and reflect on the years that have flown by, and still it seems like yesterday that our first daughter was born. It really is hard to believe that 7 years has come and gone just like that. It is a bitter sweet feeling I love to watch them grow up and experience new things in life but I love the baby stage OH SO MUCH :) ! Sometimes I wish I could freeze time.
Makayla's birthday wishes this year were to have a party ~ a Hannah Montana Birthday Party to be precise ! So that's what we did! We invited 10 little girls..got a cake and snacks..and they jumped for joy on the trampoline. Hope you had a wonderful Birthday Sweetie !
