I can actually say that lately it's been relevantly calm..well calmer than usual around here..kid wise I mean. Until yesterday. It just turned out to be one of those.." I want it to be over" days.
And it went a little something like this:... I had received my lovely Avon order in the morning, in which I never was able to open as Kennedy got to it before I did, and yep into all the stuff she could have un done..then........................I placed my Avon order on top of the TV cabinet thinking it was safe..and it wasn't. Little miss Kennedy decided that it wasn't a good spot for the bag of goodies..so she moved it down, and then proceeded to take stuff out of the bag~please note this was all when I was not in the room. At one point she grabbed a bottle of nail polish..Tweed in colour, and well tried to paint her nails and let's just say it turn out to well, most of it ended up on the floor. Oh momma wasn't too happy after that, but only to come upon another mess in progress. Mr Marshall was in the bathroom ~ which was un known to me as well..and as I opened the bathroom door this fresh aroma flew up my nostrils..it was then that I knew there was trouble. As I continued to open the door all I saw was a little pool of blue..and a toy transport truck " loaded " with this blue stuff. As I looked a little closer I saw that it was Head and Shoulders shampoo..and so Marshall was also rubbing it into his dry buzz cut hair. It was at this point that I decided that I had to make a decision I could either get real mad and upset everyone or just laugh about it talk calmly to him and clean it up..I picked # 2 ~ believe it or not. I need to continue to choose my battles or I will give my self a heart attack with anger.
I told Marshall to stay still as I ran to get the camera..for evidence.
I washed up the truck first put the bottle back, and then went to clean up the little man..of which he was not willing to cooperate with me..my cousin was walking in as I was trying to wash this out of his hair so I asked her to help me..I held Marshall, as she poured water over his hair and we rubbed it and suds just kept re appearing, and reappearing...took a little bit but we accomplished it finally.
So can't finished yet..hasn't been three " troubles " yet..right?? Ya that's right. So after I finished, cleaning up Marshall, I walked into the family room, about 1/2 hr earlier the girls had been eating yogurts..and they left them on the end tables..just in reach for little miss Kourtney to grab. THE COUCH WAS SMEARED with strawberry yogurt..and so was Kourtney. What next I said, what next.
So tell me can you top my Friday??

Can't top this friday but I've definetly had days like that!
Can't top this one either. But I did find my 13 month old drinking water out of the toilet with a straw.
Chrissy I just have to add this.....
When you told me how busy or crazy it could get...I believed you but never took you seriously....however after Friday I will never doubt the seriousness of it again......LOL....I just couldn't believe how calm you were about it....Your a GREAT MOM. Marshall is so cute even if he was mad at us both for soaking his head. Kourtney was just having some good old fun while this happened. As for Kennedy....well enough said.. And I could definitely never "Top" that Friday you had. I hope the yogurt didn't ruin the couch too much...
Happy Thanksgiving to you all!
Mel
Wow. We have trouble looking after two.
LOL...omg! Your kids are waaay to cute to hold anything against them! Although I do hope the yogurt didn't wreck the couch! I hope I am half as calm as you when I have kids some day!
