Now that Makayla has spent 2 years in Sparks it was time for her to Fly up to Brownies, it may not sound like much...but for Mike & I it is a big deal. We are very proud of her for sticking with this program and learning all that she has. What makes me even more proud is the fact that she can't wait to go to Brownies next year. I took some pictures at the " Flying up Ceremony " , what a proud Sparks she was. :)

My Mom put me into Brownies, because she wanted me into an activity and I think because we were in a new neighbourhood and she wanted me to meet other girls.
Anyhow, I just loved it and ended up getting the Canada Cord as a Ranger and did a couple more years as a junior leader. I'm still waiting to settle, so that I can get back into the movement again, as a volunteer.
Its a good organization.
