The flooded land..those poor trees

Capsizing waves..well maybe not that bad..but for this river..lol

The Snow has melted & the rain has not helped this situation...

The tunnels under the bridge are REALLY full

River Rapids.... Oh My

The current is unbelievable...

One fishy, two fishy....

Fishy Wishy...one two three.....each of the kids have picked out a fish for the fish tank we have in the family room..and well yes we have an extra fish in there too :) I tried to take some pic's of our wiggly little swimming fish..

Christmas brought many delightful smiles, and some fun filled giggles to 4 little children in this house. I will admit that we had one ill little girl on Christmas day with a cold that woulda knocked the socks off anyone..but she pulled through the day & ended up alright.
I guess it's the smiles and those grins..plus the gasps of ooo's and aahhh's you hear after the open a gift that I love. There are so many more meaning's to Christmas then just presents and stockings...yet the gifts still seems to be a tiny highlight for our wee ones...nothing wrong with that right ?!?!
Remember those morning mouthfuls of chocolate - they were the best ;)

Unsure

I guess this is the word I wish to use at this time in my life... Unsure.... There are so many things going on in my life right now, and so many emotions to deal with it just seems to leave a lot left to be unsure about, that's all. The Year 2009 will bring many new emotions and experiences.
I have done an awful lot of soul searching and I'm sure there will be more to come. With this said I wish you all the best in 2009 - keep smiling and look forward . :)

Not too many words are needed to explain - just this poem - it says it all.

Many thoughts in one poem..

Super Star

Kourtney got a hold of a pair of my "Bug eye " sunglasses..you know the glasses thaqt you try to make yourself look like Nicole Richie...or Paris Hilton..the glasses that could allow anything to pelt off them at any given speed or radius.- i love it :)

It really amazes me how fast time flies while watching your kids grow up...each day they seem to change more and more..whether it be attitude or looks...I love what they are growing or should I say who they are growing up to be.

Not sure...!?!?

I truly apologize to all or any of my Blog readers... I seriously have not been able to get into my Blogger account till now. It has been VERY frustrating that's for sure..but tonight I must have hit the right keys or picked the right password I'm not too sure..lol. Anyways I'm back and ready to Blog! Hope you keep readin'!

Back to the hussle & bussle ...yep of packing lunches & making sure homework is complete. Makayla started back to school this morning, and she seemed pretty eager to go. Mind you she is starting at a brand new school & is now in grade 2, so she did have a few " butterflies" in her tummy she said this morning. But she is a pretty social butterfly herself...so I have confidence that she will be just fine :)

Now...Kennedy also is starting school this yr...her full days start next week, I am actually surprised as she is very eager to get the whole school thing on the go. But I think that it could come to an abrupt halt when the bus actually stops and picks her up - or tries to at least. :) I still find it hard to believe that Kaye is starting school even though I have had many a days where i begged and wished she was already in. Now I kinda want to stop certain processes that are occurring as I feel like I am losing my babies. I DONT LIKE IT.

As many of you know, Mike (dh) has switched jobs - a switch that was needed in deed. I wanted to let you know that he is doing well and enjoying it immensely. He has already been to quite a few places and has seen tons of new scenery ( trees & rocks, water - Up North ) . He is off again this week to a new area and I can't wait to hear how it went for him...Proud of you Mike for making the change.
