I went fishin' ! Just Picture it...

Today's title boys and girls is very true! i did go fishin'- but not the kinda fishin' you think...

Little Miss Kennedy received a birthday gift from her Aunt Vicki and well one part of it was a board game- Dora Chutes & Ladders to be exact. If any of you are familiar with this game at all you will know that there are figurines of Dora characters to play with. Well, today Kennedy wanted to play with her new game, all was fine and dandy till... Kennedy had to go to the bathroom..and she was in for a #2 ( BM ) not to get too graphic on ya. Anyways..I said here you , you call me when you are done, and I will help you get off the potty. " K, Mom".
Then sheer terror screams came from the bathroom, all I could think of was : Oh no what if Kennedy fell into the toilet and is stuck, or what if she fell off the toilet and hurt herself. You know all the really bad " what if's" go through your head. So I ran in there like a speed demon ready to find the worst, when she had this awful look on her face, and was at the other end of the bathroom by now, she pointed to the toilet and said : " Mom, my Dora toy is in the toilet" ! So I looked in to see well I saw a bunch of other stuff I didn't wanna look at and well I saw no Dora figurine..till I viewed it again from another angle. And YEP it was in there for sure! And right at the very bottom with stuff on top! YUM ....just what I wanted to do on my Monday morning..go fishing for a Dora figurine in a toilet full of poop. So many thoughts were crossing my little brain by this time as to how i could possibly get this poop covered Dora toy without actually touching anything. HAHAHA..IMPOSSIBLE! I tried a Spaghetti lifter, and a long handle from a toy bin they have....but to no avail...still no luck. Finally I just mustered up the courage a didn't look and reached in to the " sewer potty" to fish around for the figurine..I have to say I did curse a couple times while doing this..and I told Kennedy to NEVER EVER do this again or her toy will be flushed to potty heaven! I cannot stand reaching into dark places that I cannot see the bottom of and well this was one of them and I wish to NEVER DO IT AGAIN..EVER!!! But I did and Kennedy was so happy to have her little Dora toy back..so I sterilized it and myself and the other fishin' utensils I used. What a morning I tell ya, what a morning.
